Its licence covers 4 of the ten crypto-asset services defined by MiCA: providing custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients, exchange of crypto-assets for funds, exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets and execution of orders for crypto-assets on behalf of clients.
Under MiCA passporting, IG Europe may serve clients in 27 member states without a separate local licence: Germany, Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
